Summary

	The Atmospheric Accelerator was a device created by the Tosharan mechanic, Selo Rovak, that allowed to manipulate wind patterns. Rovak sold it to the Empire in exchange for off-world parts she needed, and the Empire installed the accelerator into their wind harvester. Unfortunately, the wind harvester operations negatively impacted the local wind farmers, who shunned Rovak in her home village of Kadua for collaborating with the Empire, and as a result, she moved to a shop in the Mirage region. Later in 3 ABY, Rovak was approached by the off-worlder Kay Vess who was hoping she would upgrade her speeder bike. After telling Vess that the atmospheric accelerator would really speed up her bike's speed, Rovak asked her break into the wind harvester and steal the atmospheric accelerator. Vess stole the device and the facility shut down. When Vess returned to Rovak, she installed the accelerator into Vess's speeder, giving the bike the ability to boost its speed for a short period of tme. Read more...
